Class of 2020 Graduates

Our world is not what it was!  There have been so many endings and changes in our familiar daily habits due to COVID-19.  With that, many of us will experience the losses of important events that we will never have an opportunity to share in due to it.

A significant loss this time of the year is that many are ready to celebrate a friend, brother, sister, son, daughter, or family member as they prepare to accept their diploma. For many this day has significantly changed.  I would like to share an article about this topic.  It’s titled “12 Things You Should and Shouldn’t Say to the Class of 2020 Graduates”.  Please give it a read:

Unresolved grief?

Grief is not something that you get over, avoid, can go around, or ignore.  You must go through it. Unresolved grief is almost always about things we wish we had said or done differently, better, or more.  Unresolved grief is also about the unrealized hopes, dreams, and expectations we had for the relationship.  Finally, unresolved grief is about undelivered communications of an emotional nature.  Most of us were never taught the proper tools to recover.

That is where I come in, I am a trained specialist in a PROVEN evidence-based method that helps those grieving learn how to deal with the pain. www.JenniferGriefRecovery.com

Evidence Based Grief Recovery

The Grief Recovery Method is “Evidence Based” – meaning that currently it is the only program that has this distinction.

Research done at Kent State University has shown that The Grief Recovery Method program is effective.

During the current troubling times that we are experiencing, Grief is a real aspect of these times, and many are experiencing loss, whether it is the loss of job, financial opportunities, or a loved one.  I remain available to help.

Whether you would like to take advantage of my FREE 20-minute session that I am offering, or the 7 week program, I hope you take the opportunity to reach out today.  I look forward to speaking with you.

Grief is the conflicting feelings caused by the end of, or change in, a familiar pattern of behavior.

How has your life or familiar patterns recently changed?

Through these most difficult times there is uncertainty about our “Well Being”.  You may be experiencing fear of the unknown, anxiety about the things we can’t control, or depression from the feelings of powerlessness.  All of which is grief. The whole world is grieving now.

If you are experiencing feelings of loss during this COVID-19 pandemic, or significant loss from a death of a loved one, break up of a romantic partnership, loss of income or health, and feel stuck in how to cope, I can help.

During these troubling times I will be offering 20 minute sessions as a FREE SERVICE.

Coronavirus update, and article to read

Due to the current and ongoing COVID-19 news I will continue to be available for any emergency situation.  If you have an appointment and would like to discuss alternate options rather then meeting in person please give me a call so we can go over these options.

This is a situation like none of us have ever experienced before, notably bringing it’s own grief surrounding it.  Due to this I will continue to remain readily available not only for all other grief pertaining issues but also for this COVID-19 virus and the waves that it is sending.

I ask that you please take the time and read this article as well as the links within this article.  This article was produced by The Grief Recovery Method  “What You Need to Know About Coronavirus and Grief.” – found here: https://www.griefrecoverymethod.com/blog/2020/03/what-you-need-know-about-coronavirus-and-grief

Even more importantly during this time I hope that you take it upon yourself to listen to Governor Tom Wolf’s recommendations in which he said yesterday “I encourage everyone to stay home and refrain from nonessential travel. Now is the time to work together to stop the spread of the coronavirus.”

Stay Safe!

The purpose of grieving, and why you need to.

Just talking will not resolve grief. It’s about the action you take to find and complete the unresolved things we wish we would have said or done differently. We tend to wonder what we could have done better, more, or should have said. Then there’s the realization about the hopes, dreams, and expectations we may have had for the relationship that abruptly halted.

Allow me to help you possess the correct tools needed to reclaim, recover and restore you.
